If you have already done some dressmaking with us but now you want to learn how to go it alone then this is the class for you
We will show you how to make some basic alterations to commercial patterns so you can alter them to fit better. You will then all work on a pattern of your choice and get help making it.
In the first session you will learn how to alter your patterns. We will then ask you to cut them out at home and make a start on them and bring them back for the second session where we can help you with any tricky bits.
You will need to bring your own pattern and fabric and anything else the pattern requires. We recommend patterns that aren't too complicated. You will get more from the course if your pattern is not too fussy.
Cake and tea will provided to help the sewing process along!
