We released our new eBook, My Capsule Wardrobe: City Break, last week and we’ve been so overwhelmed by the reaction it’s received so far. Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy – and to those who have already started making their capsule wardrobe. So far we have been delighted to see Gabby’s perfect Molly Top and Erin Skirt combo, and Karen’s amazing stripy Molly Dress – can’t believe how speedy you lot are!
Although it was in fact in June, it seems like only yesterday we went to Paris for the eBook photoshoot. We had a great time scouting out locations and stopping in pretty cafes to sip wine and nibble macarons.
With two days, tonnes of samples and a whole city to cover, the photoshoot was, shall we say, logistically interesting. Alex ended up with a lot of these photos on her phone…
Here we are with suitcases and cagoules in rainy Montmartre. Oh the glamour!
We didn’t have the best weather. Here is Lisa trying to stay dry in the early morning drizzle.
Travelling around the city’s different arrondissements, we definitely couldn’t go back to the Airbnb everytime Lisa needed to put on a new outfit. So how did we do it, you ask. Well…
Meet our personal pop-up changing tent!
Though a modesty life-saver, this thing did draw attention to us. Here we are trying to hide by the edge of the Tuileries Garden.
Nothing to see here!
Trying to blend in next to this closed-for-the-day flower market.
Squeezing down a cobbled side street in Montmartre.
Don’t mind us!
So that’s how we did it. Thoroughly unglamorous, but highly practical, if you’re ever on a location photoshoot, get yourself one of these bad boys!
Finished for the day (and on the ninety-ninth outfit!), here’s Lisa with the suitcase, Alex with the tent, and Kangan with the camera.
