This dress is based on the style of Betty Draper in Mad Men. With a fitted bodice and full circle skirt, Betty is a classic 50′s style dress which is completely and utterly timeless.
The pattern has four darts in the front and two in the back, a circle skirt and an invisible zip. The neckline and armholes are finished with a facing. You will get the chance to finish all your seam allowances with an overlocker for a clean and professional finish.
We will show you how to alter the pattern to fit you from the beginning and will then fit the dress as we go along. You will leave with a dress that fits you perfectly, as well as your personalised pattern so you can make the dress again at home!
