Ultimate Shift Dress Class

Ultimate Shift Dress class - Sew Over It. The perfect course for beginner dressmakers

Want to learn how to make your own dress? Then this is the perfect course for you. The pattern is very versatile and has variations on sleeves and a neck frill.

You can style it any way you like and you can make a top and tunic from the same pattern. You will get a pattern that has every version (sleeveless, collar, sleeve frill, sleeves) so you can mix it up and make as many as you want.

On this course you will learn: how to accurately measure yourself, how to  check the size of the pattern, how to pin and cut out the fabric, how to sew darts, stitch a back neck opening, finish the seams using an overlocker, attach facings and insert a sleeve/attach neck frill/attach cap sleeves.

You will leave with the finished dress and your own pattern that has been altered to fit you, so you can make the dress again.

Your sewing level

This is a class for a confident beginner. You will need to have taken the Intro to Dressmaking class beforehand or be at the equivalent level.
