Winter wardrobe: chapter two

So the next phase in my winter wardrobe took me in the direction of our new Twiggy dress and another pair of 1940s Trousers by Decades of style…..

The Twiggy dress is made out of a grey wool mix fabric  from our shop with our luxury crepe for collar and cuffs. I lined it in a lightweight cotton so it is comfy to wear. The wool is a bit itchy!

It was interesting to see how the fit was much closer in this fabric compared to the crepe the original sample was in. The shape also holds much better in this fabric. I think the cotton lining helps.

The trousers are made out of our navy and green tartan. They are so comfy to wear and were a perfect fit from the pattern which was so unusual.

Next on my list, a couple of pairs of Ultimate trousers and an Anderson blouse!

(Sorry photos aren’t great – still working out the lighting in the new shop!)
