We’ve really got into the sewalongs here at Sew Over It HQ. They were something we were really keen to introduce when we started releasing our patterns commercially, and we’re really pleased with how they’ve gone so far. We love the in-depth posts and the fact that you can keep coming back to them whenever you like if you get stuck.
So starting tomorrow, we’ll be running our next one!
The Silk Cami is our newest pattern, which we have released solely in digital format. This means that you can buy it, download it and start putting it all together within five minutes. No paying for delivery costs, no waiting for the postman, just straight down to the sewing. Sounds good to us!
The schedule for the Silk Cami sewalong will look like this:
Friday 12th October: Gathering your Supplies and Choosing your Fabric
Tuesday 16th October: Measuring Yourself and Prepping your Pattern
Wednesday 17th October: Getting Started With French Seams and Assembling the Cami
Thursday 18th October: Assembling and Attaching the Facing
Friday 19th October: Joining the Straps and Hemming
We’d love you to join in and sew along with us. You can get the pattern on our online shop, and if you can’t wait to get started you can start printing, cutting and sticking following our How To Assemble a PDF Pattern post.
What’s you favourite thing about sewalongs? Are you going to join in?
