Threading a sewing machine may seem like a huge challenge when you first begin sewing, but it doesn’t have to stress you out! Follow Lisa’s tutorial on how to thread your sewing machine and you’ll be doing it like a pro in no time!

Sew a Headscarf

Our speedy-yet-glam, 70s-inspired headscarf is another fab project for beginners! Lisa sewed hers up in an hour in her Lunchtime Make on Instagram – watch it here.

It has a simple construction, wide panel across the head, long ties for beautiful detail and a hidden covered elastic section to keep the headscarf fitting snugly whilst you’re wearing it. We recommend choosing a soft cotton lawn for a nice and easy sew!
