With the launch of our new class, the Francine Jacket, last week, we thought it would be helpful to show you some of our favourite jacket fabrics. Whether you’re making the Francine, Coco, 60’s Coat or any other form of outerwear, we’ll help you find something perfect.
Summer Jacket
This light and breezy linen would work wonderfully as a summer throw on, and so fresh in this mint sorbet tone.
Bright and colourful, Joseph Boucle would make a beautiful jacket for a summer evening out at the theatre. With a mix of cotton and viscose it’s light enough for a picnic at the park.
Autumn Jacket
This multi-toned Boucle reminds us of cosy evenings in by the fire as evenings start to draw in and winter is round the corner. Light enough for our Indian summers and easy to layer up, making it the perfect mid-season cover up.
We’re forecasting purple as a big hit this Autumn. And with a simple pin stripe, this fabric would make a classic jacket you’ll bring out year after year.
Winter Coat
Cool blue tones make this Boucle weave a smart choice for the crisp winter days. This would make a beautiful coat perfect to wear for work through to an evening out with friends.
Why not try pink and green for an alternative winter tartan? This would be a gorgeous jacket, or chic cape, teamed with a chunky knit snood. Being a wool mix this fabric will keep you snug through till spring.
Spring Jacket
Proving our Joseph Boucle collection works all year round, this mint version reminds us of blossoming flowers and country walks. Give your wardrobe something fresh for the new year.
Despite its colour this fabric will draw you out of the winter blues. The linen is the perfect choice for a Spring time Jacket that will take you right through to summer again. We picture this with a sailor blouse and red circle skirt, perfect for a boat trip on the Thames.
What will you choose? Find the perfect fabric for your Francine Jacket on our online shop.
Will this class be eventually one of the online classes
