Master the overlocker whilst making one of our versatile t-shirt patterns! This class will not only teach you how to sew a jersey t-shirt but also how to properly use and understand overlockers.
Never out of style, a basic jersey top is always a must-have in any wardrobe. Style it up with a breton stripe, or colour block for a more funky look. The perfect pattern for using an overlocker for the first time.
In the morning: Introduce you to overlockers. How to: thread them, explanation of what all the dials do, practise using them on different fabrics, sew a rolled hem, disengage the blade. You will leave with samples that you can keep for reference. You will then cut out the fabric for your dress/top. Our teacher will give you lots of tips and tricks throughout the class.
After lunch: Thread up your overlocker ready for the class. Sew up your top!
