It’s about time we brought you a new printed pattern!
Meet our beautiful new lady, Eve!

Eve is a versatile wrap dress with endless potential. With two stunning variations creating completely different looks, there’s so much fun to be had with this pattern!

Whether you go boho romantic for summer garden parties or sleek and elegant for everyday, the Eve Dress will keep you dressed up in style.

Floaty, feminine and romantic, variation 1 makes the ultimate summer wedding outfit.

It dreamily harks back to the 70s with its dipped hem, on-trend statement sleeve and gently relaxed fit. This variation will have you dancing around the garden barefoot in no time.

Understated and sleek, variation 2 features a more contemporary silhouette, with narrow elbow-length sleeves and a level knee-length hem. Elegant and wearable year-round, it’s a great wardrobe staple; a sure-fire go-to for Friday evening post-work drinks.

Both dresses feature a pretty gathered yoke, wrap over front and a long tie closure.

An incredibly adaptable pattern, Eve is sure to be a wardrobe must-have this summer. Designed for woven fabrics and with no zips or buttons, it’s beginner-friendly, and with minimal seams it makes the perfect dress for showing off those big bold prints.

Think lightweight woven fabrics with lots of drape for Eve. Rayons, crepes and georgettes are perfect, though less experienced sewers could try lighter cottons such as lawn or voile.

The beautifully versatile Eve Dress pattern comes in UK sizes 8-20, in both paper format for those who like to display their pretty pattern packaging, and PDF format for those adverse to waiting for the postman.

Hi there, if the fabric I want to use is see through and needs a lining – is it possible to add an attached lining to the dress? And how would I do this please?

    1. Alex - Sew Over It says:

You can do but it’d be sooooo much easier to wear a slip underneath. The Eve Dress doesn’t lend itself to being lined, so we’d suggest a slip instead, as this will ensure you don’t end up with a bulky dress that doesn’t hang properly 🙂

        Okay, thank you!
