Hia – Just cut out my pattern pieces for the Emma and the measurement pdf says refer to blog for more help, but I can’t find any help on the blog for the Emma. I’m after how to make adjustments with the lengths – both to the bodice and skirt. My back is long but my legs are short and I’d like to make it to the knee! Would be grateful if you can point me in the right direction. thanks.

Hi Liz! So in terms of lengthening the bodice and the skirt, this is fairly straightforward! You just cut along the lengthen/shorten lines on the pattern and add in the required amount of length. We don’t have anything on our blog that specifically covers this, but after a quick Google I found this post which I hope will help 🙂 https://mavenpatterns.co.uk/lengthening-shortening-pattern-tutorial/

Lovely thank you for the super speedy reply! I’ve never been brave enough to cut along the ‘lengthen or shorten’ lines but just going to go for it!
