If you’ve seen any of Lisa’s Instagram Stories recently, you’ll know she’s been one busy lady.
Along with our brand new Islington shop (opening this month!), she’s also been working on a brand new magazine!
Lisa Comfort is a quarterly magazine for those who can’t resist a Pinterest DIY, enjoy getting creative, and of course, love sewing!
An extension of Lisa’s lisacomfort.com website, her magazine is packed full of crafty tutorials, make-up how-tos, dressmaking hacks, chats with inspiring women and her top London haunts.
Oh and did we mention there’s an exclusive Sew Over It pattern in every issue? We have a feeling you’re going to be thrilled about this one!
Issue 1 features a gorgeous Christmas DIY, a tie-cuff Ultimate Shift Dress hack, lovely chat with textile designer Zeena Shah, and mega excitingly, our much requested Cocoon Coat pattern (yay!) – plus lots more!
Meet the Cocoon Coat
The Sew Over It Cocoon Coat is an on-trend, easy-to-wear winter coat. It features a shaped collar stand, drop shoulder and a full lining. There are no fastenings but the coat wraps closed at the front. The gently oversized look and comfy fit mean you’ll be reaching for it all season.
As with all Sew Over It patterns, the Cocoon Coat is available in UK sizes 8-20.
For dressmakers who like a challenge, an optional welt pocket pattern and instructions are available to download from Lisa’s website.
Available in both print and digital formats, whether you like to hold a physical copy or scroll on your phone or tablet, there’s a version to suit your reading preferences.
