Never be stuck for something to wear in summer with our brand new Lottie Dress! Loose-fitting in style and easy to wear, Lottie is a button-front summer dress with a pretty round bias-bound neckline, gathers for shaping at the bust, delicate shoulder straps, straight skirt, and optional tie-belt. She’s perfect for those scorching summer days when all you want to live in is something loose and floaty.
In this class we focus on those fiddly techniques that you’ve told us you find tricky. We cover how to make your own bias binding, which you’ll then use to finish the raw edges of the neckline, as well as create the shoulder straps of the dress. Once your dress is sewn up we’ll teach you our tips to get beautiful buttonholes every time.
A great project for advanced beginners, Lottie is designed to be sewn in cottons or linen. You will leave with your completed Lottie Dress and your pattern which you can use again and again at home.
