Want to learn how to make a sleeve pattern from scratch? Then this is the perfect class for you. You will need to have already done the bodice pattern cutting class so that we can fit your sleeve to your bodice.
Lesson 1: Draft a sleeve block based on your measurements. Make up a toile at home.
Lesson 2: Check the fit of toile on your bodice and alter the pattern. Learn how to modify the sleeve into different styles.
Your sewing level:
You would get the most out of this course if you have already made a few items of clothing already as you will make the toile up at home. If you need to brush up on your dressmaking skills why not take our Ultimate shift dress class. You will also need to have done the bodice pattern cutting class so you have a toile to attach the sleeve to.
We will provide all the equipment you may need, pattern paper and calico for your toile.
Cake and tea will be provided to help the sewing process along!
