Emma Dress PDF Sewing Pattern

£9.00

The Emma Dress is your perfect everyday fit and flare knit dress. Comfy yet flattering, it features a form-fitting princess-seamed bodice with lovely round neckline, and a pretty pleated skirt. The set-in sleeves are a classic 3/4-length and the dress closes with an invisible zip in the centre back seam. (But a lot of customers have told us if your fabric has enough stretch and recovery, the zip can easily be omitted!)

Designed to be sewn in a stable, heavier-weight knit such as ponte di Roma, Emma is easier to sew than it sounds, and makes a great dress to have a go at if you’re new to knits.

Sewing Level
The Emma Dress is an advanced beginner to intermediate level sewing pattern. We recommend you have experience of inserting an invisible zip, but otherwise the construction is not too tricky.

The Emma Dress pattern, along with the Alice Top, is also available as part of our Intro to Sewing with Knit Fabrics online class on Stitch School, which comes with both video tutorials as well as written instructions.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home. Simply download, print, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.

Never used a PDF pattern before and would like some help? Learn everything you need to know in our handy Guide to Assembling PDF Patterns over on our blog!

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DOWNLOADABLE PATTERN WHICH YOU HAVE TO PRINT AT HOME. At the end of the checkout process you will receive an email with the link to your pattern and instructions.

Happy sewing!
