Sewing Level
The Lizzie Skirt is a beginner level sewing pattern. It makes a great second project, perhaps after you’ve made the Ultimate Shift Dress.
Fabric Suggestions
There is plenty of scope with Lizzie when it comes to fabric choices. For beginners, we recommend a light to medium weight stable woven fabric such as cotton poplin, lawn or broderie anglaise. Intermediate and advanced sewers could try a jacquard, lightweight wool, suiting, or something with more drape such as a medium weight crepe. For the lining we recommend a cotton lawn, or acetate lining fabric if you want to wear tights with your skirt. Fabric Requirements
The Lizzie Skirt sewing pattern is sized between UK sizes 8-20. See the chart for details on fabric requirements.
Like all our patterns, the sizes are nested to make it easier to grade between the sizes, depending on your measurements.

So what is a PDF pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable pattern that you print yourself at home. Simply download, print, tape together and let the sewing begin! When you print the pattern, print at 100% (you might have to uncheck the scale box). Print page 1 first, the square should measure 10cm x 10cm.
Never used a PDF pattern before and would like some help? Learn everything you need to know in our handy Guide to Assembling PDF Patterns over on our blog!
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DOWNLOADABLE PATTERN WHICH YOU HAVE TO PRINT AT HOME. At the end of the checkout process you will receive an email with the link to your pattern and instructions.
Happy sewing!
