How does the Fabric Club work?
Each month Lisa chooses some of her favourite new fabrics to go into our Fabric Club boxes, our new subscription service. You can choose from beautiful dressmaking woven fabrics (think cotton lawns, rayons and crepes), comfy and classy knits, beginner friendly cotton lawns & craft cottons, or super cute kids jerseys. Each month you’ll receive a gorgeous box full of fabric, matching Gutermann thread, a pattern recommendations card and a bag of yummy treats to keep you sewing until the next one arrives on your doorstep!

How much fabric will I receive in my box?
Each of the four boxes is different, so it depends on which one you go for. We will list this information on each product page once we go live on 1st December.

How much does the Fabric Club subscription cost?
Each of the four boxes is different, so it depends on which one you go for. We will list this information on each product page once we go live on 1st December.

When can I sign up?
Fabric Club subscriptions open each month between the 1st and 7th. Sign up to our mailing list to be notified when the subscription window opens.

When will I be charged?
You will be charged for your first box immediately upon sign up, and then on the 1st of the month each month after that.

Is it a one-off payment or a rolling subscription?
The Fabric Club is a rolling, monthly subscription service. You will be charged on the 1st of each month unless you cancel your subscription beforehand. You can cancel upcoming payments at any time by logging into your account on our website.

When will my Fabric Club box arrive?
Your Fabric Club box will typically be dispatched just over a week after subscriptions are closed. Subscriptions close on the 7th of the month, so expect your Fabric Box mid-month. If you live in the UK, all Fabric Club orders will be sent with Royal Mail on a service that usually arrives within 2 days. If you live overseas please allow extra time for your Fabric Club box to arrive. You can choose from either Standard or Tracked shipping.

Can I change my subscription?
If you wish to change your subscription to a different Fabric Club box then you must cancel your original subscription and start a new subscription to an alternate Fabric Club box when the next subscription window opens. Subscriptions can not be transferred.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your Fabric Club subscription at any time by logging into your account on our website. Under the Subscriptions section of your account there is an option to cancel your subscription. Please note that if you do not cancel at least two days prior to the 1st of the month, you may still be charged for the following month’s box. 

Upon cancellation your subscription status will be ‘Pending Cancellation’ and it may take a little time to change to ‘Cancelled’. Once fully cancelled you will receive email confirmation from either Paypal or Worldpay, confirming that your payments have stopped. You will not receive confirmation of this from Sew Over It, however you can check in your Sew Over It account that the subscription has been cancelled.

If you stop payments from within your Paypal or Worldpay account, you will also need to cancel the subscription from your Sew Over It account too.

Please note there is no charge to end your subscription and you are not trapped into a contract. You may cancel at any time and, if you like, resubscribe again at the start of any month.

Can I change my shipping address?
Yes, if you move house or you’d like your Fabric Box to be delivered somewhere else, you can change your address in your My Account page.

Can I change my billing details?
Yes, if you need to update your card details or you move house, you can change your billing details in your My Account page.

I’ve paid with Worldpay. How does FuturePay work?
If you pay for your subscription with Worldpay, you will automatically have a FuturePay account created for you. Worldpay will email you your login details. Once logged in on their Shopper Management System, you will be able to see and manage your subscription payments.

Where do you ship to?
We ship everywhere! Different shipping options for different regions of the world are included in the price of the Fabric Club subscriptions. Please ensure that you choose the option that corresponds to your shipping address as if you do not, we will not be able to send out your Fabric Club box.

Can I buy a subscription as a gift?
That’s a great idea! All you need to do is to change the shipping address to that of the recipient and we’ll send it straight to them.

Can I use a gift voucher or store credit to pay for a Fabric Club subscription?
Sorry, our gift vouchers aren’t fully integrated with the Fabric Club yet, so at the moment it’s best not to use them.

If you do buy a Fabric Club subscription using a voucher or store credit and Paypal, your order may come through to us as “Pending”. If this happens, you will be able to see this in your account on our website, in which case, please get in touch immediately.

What should I do if my box doesn’t arrive?
Please do get in touch if your Fabric Club box doesn’t arrive but please keep in mind that we have to wait 2 weeks for UK parcels, and 5 weeks for international parcels before we are able to consider them as lost as most parcels do turn up within this timeframe.

Can I see what fabric will be included with the subscription?
All fabrics are kept secret so they are a lovely surprise when they come through your letterbox!

What if I don’t like the fabric included with the Fabric Club subscription?
We understand that everyone has different tastes, and sometimes what’s included in the box might not be for you. However unfortunately we can’t accept returns. If you really don’t like the fabric that has been included in your Fabric Club box for the month, there are still lots of things you can use it for; perhaps make a gift for a friend, use it in a fabric swap, use it for toiling or even offer it up to a charity or a local school – they’re always crying out for fabric donations!

Do the Fabric Club boxes come with patterns?
The boxes contain a pattern recommendations card, but they do not contain patterns. This is because, as everyone has different styles, we thought you’d like to choose what you sew with your new fabric, and we didn’t want to send you a pattern you already own.
