Get all the help you need on your project, and amazing sewing tips as well, with our super-teacher Julie!
Work on the dressmaking project of your choice with the expert guidance of Sew Over It’s resident Super-Teacher, Julie Johnston. What she doesn’t know about sewing simply isn’t worth knowing!
If you’re stuck with a fitting question and don’t know where to turn next, have an invisible zip or buttonholes that you’re too scared to tackle or simply want to complete your project and learn some expert tips along the way then Julie is here to help. In these guided sewing sessions, you can bring along any project that you’re working on and Julie will help you through any sticking points, setting you up for sewing success!
So we can be prepared for your session, after booking please get in touch on [email protected] to let us know what you’ll be working on. Attendees have found it useful to bring two or three projects that they are stuck on so they can benefit the most from Julie’s advice and leave the easy bits to do at home. For example, fitting some trousers, decoding some tricky instructions and mastering hemming chiffon fabrics all in a six-hour session!
Julie has been part of the Sew Over It team since it began. She’s had a career in theatre, bespoke dressmaking, pattern cutting, tailoring… I could go on! She has an incredible wealth of information to share and loves nothing more than helping someone learn something new.
We like to keep our class sizes small at Sew Over It, giving you lots of one on one time with your teacher and the opportunity to ask as many questions as you can think of! The maximum class size for the Sewing Masterclass with Julie is six.
