The super popular Jessie Coatigan with its oversized fit is stylish and so easy to wear. It's a great pattern to try if you're new to coat-making and a comfy addition to your autumn/winter wardrobe. And can we talk about how amazing it looks worn with a matching Ava Skirt?!
Since the Jessie pattern came out, many of you have been asking us how to go about lining it. We decided to save you the trouble of figuring it out and bring you the Jessie Coatigan Add-On Lining!
Now you can turn Jessie into a fully lined coat!
The Add-On instructions will guide you through every step of constructing the lining and attaching it to the Jessie Coatigan, including some couture-inspired techniques to give your coat a beautiful finish. We've also included notes on how to add the lining to a Jessie Coatigan you've already made!
The Add-On includes the following pattern pieces, plus new instructions on how to sew and attach the lining:
- front lining
- back lining
- sleeve lining
- front hem facing
- back hem facing
PLEASE NOTE: You will need the Jessie Coatigan Pattern in order to use the Add-On Lining and create a fully lined coat.
Both the Pattern and the Add-On are aimed at Confident Beginners and come in our full range of sizes UK 6-30.
