Bright, cheerful + welcoming. I'd happily spend an afternoon here. (My teacher was) helpful, lots of explanations, patient + friendly - couldn't have asked for more.Intro to Sewing
Fantastic. We came from Shropshire and it was worth every penny & mile!! We have had a ball. One of the best weekends!Dressmaking Weekend
I just wanted to say again how much Charlotte enjoyed her lesson. It was a bit of a gamble (at least it felt so on my part) and I was really chuffed at how much she obviously enjoyed herself and how very proud she was of her cushion (and remains so). Please can you pass on our combined thanks again to Georgie. Georgie absolutely hit the right note. She really made an effort to show Charlotte how to do everything so she felt confident but then made sure she let her get on and do everything herself so Charlotte had the satisfaction of knowing that she had made her cushion herself. A very nice morning for both of us.121 Session
Krystel was great and let everyone go at their own speed - it was lovely! Better than other classes I've done!Intro to Dressmaking

Francine Jacket

Our first tailored jacket class, the Francine Jacket was inspired by a gorgeous vintage suit one of our lovely customers was wearing. Originally utterly 1940s in style, we tweaked the design to bring it up to date and voila, the Francine Jacket was born! A wardrobe staple, made out of a suiting worsted wool it’s perfect to wear to work with your Ultimate Pencil Skirt or Ultimate Trousers. Made in a heavier wool it’s warm enough to wear as a short coat. The style gives a subtle nod to the 40s but has been modernised in design and fit. With clever darts and shaping, this jacket can be tailored to fit your figure.
