How to grade a pattern

Sometimes you might find a pattern that’s not available in your size range. If you’re only a couple of sizes outside of the provided size range then there is a technique that you can use to grade the pattern yourself and make your very own pattern. Please note, this specific technique works on patterns that are equally graded, so the difference between sizes is the same each time. All Sew Over It’s adult patterns are equally graded.

Sew Over It produces patterns in UK sizes 6-30, but we do have a back catalogue of older patterns that are only available in sizes 8-20. We are making our way through our older patterns to diversify their size range, but unfortunately with a small team this is a slow job.
