The top and bottom pieces are gathered into the middle creating a beautiful effect and you can add a fabric-covered button for extra detail. This cushion cover also features piping and a zip along the side for easy access when you need to wash it.

Included in the course is a download of the large Piped Floor Cushion pattern and we’ll also show you how to adapt it to make the cover any size you want. You can fill the Piped Floor Cushion with a ready-made cushion inner, some stuffing, or even make good use of all the fabric scraps you have lying around!

With this course you’ll get to grips with sewing with upholstery fabric, inserting a long zip, making your own piping and handling some very large pattern pieces.

The Piped Floor Cushion also works as a cosy napping spot for your favourite pet and it makes for a beautiful present too!
